Ian Hendon's charm offensive don't wash with me

So far this week we've had two players telling us how fantastic Leyton Orient are under Hendon and that we should be grateful for such a wonderful coach.

Jay Simpson - Link

Jobi McAnuff - Link

It's stomach churning and nauseating to read that both really like Mr Hendon's style of coaching and that we should back him. McAnuff's story is too peculiar this season regardless.

Plus we've also had Ian Hendon himself come out on the charm offensive professing his love for the club - Link

There are also fantastic articles floating around where Ian tries to get the fans on his side and pressure the chairman into more signings.
We have a two week gap now until the next game and I shall be speaking to the owner and trying to do something.
And..
Let’s fill the squad between now and the end of the season. Do I think I’ll get that backing? I hope so.
And..

Everyone says the squad is small, but that is not through a lack of trying. Now is the time to basically do that.
You'd be lucky to get a warm cup of tea from me Ian.

You're basically admitting that you've squandered money on the likes of Clohessy, Essam, Kpekawa, Shaw, Chicksen, M'Voto, Dunne, Payne, Palmer and Marquis. You don't deserve any more money for players.

Here's an idea for you. If you really are that good a coach and the players really enjoy training, how about training them to get the best out of them?

At the moment it seems like you've been salvaged by two signings that weren't your own in Simpson and McAnuff.

An open letter for the players:

Cisak, Baudry, M'Voto, Clohessy, Payne, James, Cox, Dunne, McAnuff, Moore, Pritchard & Simpson.

We know that you're all talented players for this level. We know that you've all played at least League One and we know that you've all excelled there. We don't need you to prove yourselves, we know you're capable. Our frustrations are not with you.

Shaw, Essam, Palmer, McCallum, Turgott, Kashket & Grainger.

We appreciate that you're younger players. Leyton Orient is a lovely place to play your football and not particularly demanding, in comparison to places like Portsmouth, Leeds, Millwall, etc. We're more than happy to give you time to adjust to playing in this league and gain some experience. Our frustrations are not with you either.

The buck ultimately stops with our Head Coach. Ian Hendon.

Who on more than one occasion has gone public to string you out to dry to save their own necks. Blame the defence, blame the attack, blame that nobody wants to come to League Two, blame the lacking of support from the chairman, blame individuals, blame collectively, blame the politics at the club.

The politics at our club? Name me a club that hasn't got politics going on. And if the politics are that bad, then tell us. We may have some sympathy for you. If not, shut up and stop moaning about it.

There's only one person at this club that needs to prove themselves and it's you Mr Hendon. Prove to us your contacts, your tactical nous, your coaching skills, your media savvy, your motivational skills...

Previously i'd blogged that you're indecisive nature means that you're always contradicting yourself and practically lying to cover lies. Everything that has come out this week just further enforces my view of that.

And to really put the boot in.. Liverani has a better record for Leyton Orient, he didn't love the club, couldn't speak English and had none of the players on his side. And in a hgiher division.
